Nessie...and Loch Ness

Pleisiosaur or Pretend.

One thing is for sure...you can't tour Scotland (even virtually) without a mention of "Nessie"

Loch Ness

Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness

Stories of "Something" in the Loch have persisted since 500 AD.
Drawn, painted, carved in stone. In 1933 this familiar photo was released.

as well as this

There have also been sonar images obtained

Truth or hoax. Myth or monster? Hard to tell, but one is for certain. The locals take their Nessie very seriously. She can be found from tee-shirt to lunch box. In stuffed plushie form, and on road signs.
Having your own Loch Monster is a business

Loch Ness is 22 square miles but is 755 feet deep making it the largest body of freshwater in the British Isles.

And the search for "Nessie" continues as strong as ever.
