Today we will explore Sydney's Sea Life Aquarium!
Located just five minutes from Downtown Sydney at Darling Harbor.
General Entry Fee $33.59
Sea Life was formerly known as Sydney Aquarium it is home to 700 unique species and roughly 13,000 individual fish and assorted sea critters.
The aquarium also features 14 themed zones including Jurassic Seas, Discovery Rockpool, Shark Walk, and The Great Barrier Reef display.
The aquarium was built to resemble a large wave completed in 1998 with The Great Barrier Reef complex. The Great Barrier Reef contains a touch pond and a coral cave. In 2007 they added a glass bottom boat which gives guests a tour of the 687,000 gallon oceanarium.
In 2008 they added Dugong Island and two Dugongs...
"What is a Duggong???"
You might ask.
Come with me...and we'll see.
