Taking a Zero to (virtually) explore the Appalachian Trail Museum at Pine Grove Furnace State Park...because we can.
Conceived in 1998, and inside the remains of a Gristmill building from the old Pine Grove Furnace Ironworks. Open noon to 4...most days.
Artifacts include a 1959 Shelter from the AT...old hiking canes and more.
In 2011 a Hall of Fame (for hikers) was added and since then there has been nominees and yearly winners.
Let's take a look!

Looks like a storm is blowing in here soon...and have heard there is a good hostel nearby...going to check it out.
And it looks like a winner...and a much drier way to spend the night.
Back to the Trail tomorrow!
