And he took the whole family to Disney World!
I was just happy that we finally got to see Bronze's face...okay???
What a lovely family.
Our Valentine's Escape included a viewing of
Which was a wonderful role for Hanks.
Playing a man who has lost his wife...is pushed out of his job to retirement...and has serious control issues (...think tries to police The World...) and the funny delightful compassionate couple that moves next to him.
And a pussy-cat, of course.
This one is a must see.
...and John and I freely admit to exhibiting Otto-like tendencies from time to time...especially the exclamations of "IDIOT" under ones breath...
The week's new has been all over the place.
From the loss of Raquel Welch-
And impending loss of Former President Jimmy Carter. To still finding survivors of the Syrian-Turkey Quakes 300+ hours out...including this little one.
Martha Stewart who now has street-cred because she got a tat of Snoop Dogg!
And a drug bust on I-70 of 154 pounds of uncut cocaine.
...and you seriously have to laugh at John and I, out at breakfast, breaking this down into ounces and grams and how many times it would be stepped on...to figure out the approximate street value...
A LOT.
The Whale?
Open to the public now...
Yeah...THAT escalated quickly.
From the original (First Wave) beta testing group of us, numbering 10,000, to a couple hundred million...in a week.
And The Bird?
Mostly toxic.
I have several Ukraine sites I still monitor...but that's about it.
Finished Nicolas Sparks Dreamland, today.
So much more than just another Guy (Colby) meets Girl (Morgan) on a sugar-white sand (perfect) beach...and falls in love.
Oh there is that, to be sure, but he does such a great job of fleshing out the characters...it doesn't feel smarmy.
And in the middle he throws in a nice twist...kind of a story within a story of Barbara and Gary and Tommie.
A nice Hollywood ending...and a feel-good book by a master of the craft.
Enjoying a relaxing Sunday here...and maybe an early Spring.
55 today and supposed to stay in the 50's and 60's next week! The moss is greening up and the Spring birds are back...singing me awake.
I'm Hopeful!
