A Paint Spattered Cup!
A Productive Sunday!
Finished painting the arbour and basketing the tipping bulbs. I've one rose left to contanierize and my irises left to dig. It's coming together :)
Can't wait until everything blooms!
I am seeing how assorted containers and baskets (including hanging) could be really nice. No "depending on the elements" or "hoping the seeds don't wash out..or the bulbs aren't eaten or rot or get heaved in the winter." Or Tucker doesn't lay on the new seedlings and kitty-crush them. No more buying or lugging, or getting the sons to lug, huge bags of mulch. The compost box will be perfect for refilling baskets and pots as needed. And so much easier to water/fertilize/feed. All in all, pretty excited about my newest adventure.
Making some progress on Aiden's quilt.
And found a Carter's stuffed elephant that plays Brahms Lullaby :)
Found Emma her American Girl Doll.
It even has her dark brown hair and electric blue eyes...and "Mom" and I have been plotting a summer or Fall train-ride together with her to the American Girl Store/Tea Room in Chicago.
It is amazing.
A tea brunch with both Grandmas...Mom...Emma and her doll...she can get her/the doll's ears pierced or their hair styled together!
It's for when the baby is born...and even Hello Kitty doll clothes and pajamas! Why? Because everybody showers attention on "the new baby" and also because
she is (after all) now my
"Hello Kitty: Grand-Daughter" :)
Recently, she was surprised by a REAL "hello kitty" as James and Nicole brought home "Dingo" before he left.
Proving what I've always believed
He headed out yesterday to get a California run done and extra cash before the little guy arrives!
Nicki hopes that we can all be there when Aiden is born...so will definitely be heading up her way in a few weeks :)
Life is good!
(The Guardian of the Keurig)
I have got to get some of these monkey-pop-gun toys for The Grands!
You just squeeze his tummy and the ball pops out.
They will love them!
