Who is now Sofi's partner in crime.
Left abandoned in a nearby park...maybe 6 weeks old or less...very tiny and thin...rescued by Chris ( but our local no-kill shelter was closed until Tuesday) brought here until then because of their dogs.
Except by then she had tabbied her way into a name...a food dish...the litterbox and a home...
She and Sofi now play buddies.
Tag, hide and seek, and such
(...and I am out numbered again...)
She is a keeper!
Mostly a Cinderella Week...saving my energy for our upcoming Brown County Escape, and Sisters Day.
A midweek visit by Chris who has learned the art of "disassemble" now and photographed it in black and white...
and looking forward to a Sunday BBQ with James, Nicole and The Grands!
(the new grill)
John, off yesterday to the lake with Robert (his son) for some night-fishing.
And emerging this morning with a stringer full of catfish!
"What an AMAZING smell you've discovered!!!"
Also marking "Che" (Idgy's son's) 21st Birthday today!!!!
Hard to believe...when I first met him he was around 8 years old.
Now, he is over 6 feet tall and a wall.
The Shoppe is looking really good and slowly getting a fallish-thing happening!
We are hoping to get together for her Birthday, and an Early Christmas, this December!
Speaking of Christmas
(quit groaning...it is NOT too soon)
Saw this a while back...
And absolutely LOVED it.
Definitely going for a Coastal Christmas Theme this year. I have a lot of the shells and driftwood already!
And the Teal balls.
Thinking a sand colored throw blanket as a tree skirt, and using brown postal wrapping and jute with tags and a shell attached to the packages!
Anyway...
This Week's Book
Cameron's book after a year of meditative blogs.
You can see her journey here

A reflective look at kindness, and the changes it can make in your life.
Excellent read!
The Movie...actually the beginning of a TV Series that is already 5 Seasons in...looking for something new since G.O.T ended.
Chris suggested this...and I'm soooooooooooooooo hooked.
Not binge watching it, though.
One Episode a Night.
(okay...maybe two)
A prequel to Psycho...it explores how Norman...well...becomes Norman Bates.
Great psychological thriller!
And I'm only on Episode 7 of Season One...so a long way to go!
Well cast...entertaining.
Now back to the house-cleaning and cat wrangling...
Have a wonderful Weekend!
