St. Kilda, Scotland.
It has been called "The Island on the Edge of the World".
40 miles North of Uist one of four islands making up an archipelago.
The island uninhabited now...with only parties from the mainland in the summer to keep the ruins of stone houses from earlier settlements intact/restored and tourists exploring the ruins.
Although the population of St. Kilda probably never exceeded 180 people, the last were evacuated in 1930.

Now this island is home only to sheep and goats which are grazed here, and the seabirds.
