In 1994, the Hutu's killed around a million Tutsi in Rwanda during the ethnic cleansing...today the population reflects this...only some of the younger survived.

It is a very small country. Only a little over 10,000 square miles and high altitude. It lies between the Congo River and the Nile.
It has a temperate climate which is between 60 degrees and 85 degrees year around.

Rwanda's population of lions were decimated during the genocide of 1994...but three game parks are attempting to reintroduce them at this time.

Coffee and tea are the main export crops, now.
Most Rwandans are Catholic and the primary language here is Kinyarwanda.
Sports plays a large part in this rebuilt country...cricket, cycling, football and soccer, basketball and most recently the Paraolympics and Olympic Games.
