Was built across many dynasties...and therefore its sprawling across China's landscape.
Is STILL considered one of the most impressive archeological feats in history.
Today much of it is in disrepair...rocks and stone taken away to build...during the Ming Dynasty sections were rebuilt with bricks...still later concrete was used to repair sections.
...some people are still upset over the whole concrete thing...
And I watch eBay every week because (eventually) a chunk is going to end up for sale...and I will have it...lol
