Started the morning by baking pie to go with some homemade vanilla ice cream and coffee.
Great way to begin the day.
Caught up with family and friends...and there will be fireworks and fun later tonight.
Sofi and I sat out on the patio last night and got an early start on the firework-watching as someone was setting off a great display across the road!
She watches, sitting on my lap, and doesn't seem upset in the least by the flashes, booms and pops...
And the food?
Well, later, there will be burgers and dogs...potato salad...baked beans...watermelon...and yes...probably more pie!
