Freezing rain coming in early this morning...sounding like micro-pellets clattering against the porch and windows...then the snow. Huge "duck feather" flakes. Three inches down on top of the ice and more in Illinois to follow it.
And only 18 days until Spring.
A call from my eldest yesterday...whose trucking long-haul career is a great deal like Where's Waldo these days. Just left Long Beach California...to Arizona...out to Atlanta...then back to Portland Oregon. Gets to see everything and paid to do it! Excited about having a "home" again, though. Going to continue the long-haul until his training commitment is over...then looking for a home every night (or at least most nights) gig.
And talked to my daughter-in-law who just finalize the move into their new 3 bedroom home...and happy about having Emma there soon!
My "Hello Kitty" Grand-daughter...thrilled about her almost here little brother.
Aiden thumping and bumping and hiccuping about.
ETA the first week of May!
And my new matching chair...bought with visions of rocking Aiden...but immediately claimed by Tucker.
