Instead, we are going to check out the Sapodilla Cayes...which is where my painting is being set, anyway...

Nationally protected in 1996.
Let's take a look...
The half-moon shaped beach in our painting is located on Hunting Caye...part of the Sapodilla Cayes, and considered the most beautiful beach in the Marine Reserve.
The beach is also a main sea turtle nesting site.
"Hey...wait up, guys!!!"
A lighthouse, an immigration station and a guard house are the only signs of humanity on the island.
