Full of food...feathers and toys!

...my favorite will always be the revving of the engines between you and the Camaro guy at  the light...lol...

Saw a bunch of Christmas decorations!

Enjoyed Logan's and Steak with BBQ Ribs & all the trimmings!

John's ring finally arrived!

And fit perfectly!

It was a wonderful getaway, love.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

 Twas the night before Christmas...

And finishing things up before John and I have our Christmas Adventure this week.

Last week a flurry of activities with some of my grands, the kids,

my friends and brunches...and I'm exhausted.

Finishing wrapping John & Gadget's stuff...watching the Colts game together...then disappearing for the week.

Recharging.

Relax...I'll be back by Thursday or Friday!

The Tux Cat...Beginning to Look (and feel) like Christmas...

Enjoyed Sisters Day with Tina and Lisa on Saturday!!!

John and I, watched both our teams kick ass on Sunday...and hoping both make it to the playoffs. The Colts may have to be a wildcard.

Went out to finish up a bit of Christmas shopping today and summarily FROZE my ass off!

Why do I live somewhere that the wind hurts my face???

But there was a little snow in the air, this morning...and it is looking/feeling very Christmassy out!

 

Meeting Kayleb for brunch...and Ola later this week.

And next week John and I are running off for our Holiday Escape!

Still have to make the fudge...peanut butter this year...and mailing the boys Christmas since we will be gone.

Did manage to find this for my guy's birthday this year!

A December Monday Cup

Most of the decorations up, now...and everything in silvers, blues and greenery. John will top the tree with a matching blue bow when he is here for his birthday brunch!

Finn is fine...Maggie is happy for a warm place to sleep and breakfast...but this week's news is Tux...who comes in a bit each morning to sleep with me...just like he lives here or something!

Opened the door to an early Amazon delivery (for Christmas) from Chris...

A recently released book by Elton John's lyricist I've been wanting to read. He has already read it...assures me it is great...and bought me my own copy.

Just started it!

 

John shared pictures of his neighbor (Chris') place now that he has replaced his macabre Halloween Decor with his equally disturbing Christmas Decorations.

 

  

I'm telling you, honey...the guy is not right..and there are probably bodies in the basement....

not my cat.

But you wouldn't know it.

Tux belongs to a new neighbor who just moved in.

But he found my place and decided "I like it here.", now when Kim throws his fuzzy butt outside he does his business...then comes to my door to visit for a bit before heading back home.

Finnegan doesn't mind as long as he doesn't try to eat his rotisserie chicken.

There are limits.

So, unwittingly...I am now home to 1.5 cats...lol

He reminds me a little of Tucker and he is very lovable and personable...I don't mind...and Kim is okay with it.

At least we both call him by the same name.

 

Exciting news, as Kayleb has just got his first apartment.

"Grandma...there is no toilet paper in the bathroom."

No...you'll have to go grocery shopping.

But now he has food...and presumably toilet paper...and is enjoying the peace and quiet.

Making a list of the stuff you don't have when you first move in.

Lennon is back home and back to the day to day. It was great having him up for his birthday and Thanksgiving...and so wonderful to have all my boys together for even a little while.

and BAM...Christmas is everywhere!

Removed all the Fall Decor yesterday...and today is all about Christmas.

A fir-scented candle burning... Christmas Jazz...and everything with silver and blue balls and bows!

And eggnog, of course.

Tomorrow: John, football and food.
