Beautiful week ahead...finishing up the Decluttering...surrounded by trash-bags and implements of cleaning.
Looking forward to photos of John's Adventures with kids/grandkids/great-grands which arrived last Thursday night and did a whirlwind tour Friday/Saturday and Sunday...and left after a huge breakfast together this morning.
Two of his four great-grands. The youngest (Mia) is destined to become a Gadget Girl...just like her Great Grandpa...loves putting things together and how everything works!
My guy sounded so happy...and soooo beat.

Sunday, although I passed on our county fair this year, I indulged in the annual fair-food-feast.
Complete with Italian Sausage with Peppers, Mushrooms and Onions...Deep Fried Veggies and a small Elephant Ear...with Honey Ice Cream for Afters.
Today, I realized why this was a once-a-year fried food event...and an afternoon salad was a welcomed sight!
Getting the Fall Decor on deck for September...and wondering where the hell the year has gone???
