Pupusas are mainstay in El Salvador...everywhere.

From street food to local restaurants...and of course...at home.

They can be made vegan, with an assortment of meats or cheeses.

They are easily made and go with almost any side dish.

Little packets of white cornmeal filled with "whatever" and then flattened like thick pancakes and fried in a skillet until the outside is browned.



Going to try these soon with leftover pulled pork!
