Virtual Islands: San Blas
Today is the day we forgive Roger Lovegrove for all those crappy little arctic islands where we froze our collective asses off...
Today we discover San Blas!
"Sell the car...sell the kids...sell the house...I'm HOME!"
San Blas is a group of 378 small islands off Panama.
...location...
The temperature in San Blas this morning is 79 degrees.
It is never below 70 and rarely above 90, with the average being around 80 degrees.
(...having just emerged from winter recently here...doesn't that sound lovely...)
Of the 378 islands located here in the Carribean Sea all but 49 are uninhabited.
Some are barely more than a spit of sand above the turquoise water and a few palm trees.
Whereas others are set up for the budding tourism industry that is spawning here.
Where you can rent a bungalow over the water.

and lots...
So many starfish!!!
